Given the small percentage of international students admitted to the American boarding schools, most of Chinese kids attending U.S private high schools are largely isolated. This union would be a platform where Chinese students attending American private schools could communicate and share their experiences, good and bad, with their peers, to further help them adjust to schools under American systems and do good academically and in terms of extracurricular activities. Moreover, this would also be a window for high school students attending high schools in Mainland China and in the States to share resources and have the opportunity to select virtues from both Chinese and American systems to develop something that specifically fits themselves. On top of that, this would also potentially establish the network among all the parents to cooperate in various aspects of their life.
Association of Chinese Students of Private Schools of America (ACSPSA), is the largest private school Chinese student association for both high school and middle school students including boarding schools and day schools.
